MY ZEN HABITATS ENCLOSURES
Quick note: Zen Habitats no longer makes the Meridian OR original versions of their enclosures – which are all of the enclosures in this older blog post. When I get my hands on their newer versions for my reptiles, I will link the new blog post here. But for now you can check them out anyways with my link and let me know what you think! https://www.zenhabitats.com/?aff=22

Hey there! You are probably here because you clicked the link in my bio on one of my social media platforms, wondering about those beautiful brown and black enclosures that I have in my reptile room. I am happy to say, you have come to the right place.
This page will have every single enclosure by Zen Habitats that I currently own listed and linked (clickable titles) so you are able to easily purchase one, yourselves. These links are all affiliate links, which means that when you purchase an enclosure from these links, I get a small commission at no extra cost to you. It basically just helps continue to support my reptiles (future upgrades, food for all nine of them, and anything else they may need) and I, as well as allow me to keep this website up and running! We greatly appreciate the support of our links. Thank you so much. ♡
If you do not want to read this whole page and you just want to be directed to their website to browse on your own, here are the U.S. and U.K. links there!

I currently have two of the Meridian version enclosures for my blue tongue skink and bearded dragon, which is essentially the easier to build version. They fold up and screw together in five minutes, and also are super easy to take apart when you need to. The easiest build I have ever had probably. For this reason, I have removed the previous enclosure types from my recommendations, since those can be a little bit of a pain to build in comparison and I do not believe the <$50 difference is worth the savings.
I set up my bearded dragon enclosure in this video if you are interested in watching a DIY background build!
The 4x2x2 measurement is the minimum for a lot of the larger species of reptiles, such as a bearded dragon, blue tongue skink, ball python, uromastyx, etc. If you have a smaller reptile that does not require the space or height, but you would still like to provide a little more, I would recommend the regular 48x24x16 enclosure. I would not recommend the shorter enclosure for the previously mentioned species, since this is no longer an acceptable enclosure size! I once did have my bearded dragon and blue tongue skink in that size, but as we all know… standards improve! Climbing is an important part of enrichment for these guys and 16 inches is too short for species that require a 2 foot tall enclosure.
Deluxe Stacking Spacer –
This stacker is honestly my favorite. It hides your lights if you put them on top of your enclosures, and allows you to stack another enclosure on top. This has been a massive space saver for me, since my reptile room is small. I highly recommend these to anyone with multiple larger reptiles such as myself! You can also stack two 2x2x2 enclosures next to each other on these stackers. I’ve seen it done and it looks amazing. They also have a cabinet stand spacer available – I don’t have this one but it does store a lot more if you’re in need of that.
2X2X2 Zen Habitats Meridian Enclosure –
This enclosure is what I house my crested gecko, Smeagol in. It holds humidity amazing and I usually only have to mist the enclosure twice a day without an automatic mister. I would love to upgrade him to a 2x2x4 eventually as well, I think he would really utilize the space.
I linked the regular meridian enclosure in the old color (because at the time of writing this, Zen is doing a revamp), but I also am such a huge fan of their black color line that came out recently. I actually got to partner with Zen Habitats + Josh’s Frogs for a build in their black 2x2x2 and you can find that video (and the entire build available) here:
2X2X4 Zen Habitats Meridian Enclosure –
This enclosure is personally one of my favorites, just because I love the tall enclosures so much more for some odd reason. I keep my rhino rat snake in this enclosure at this time and he loves the space.
This enclosure is a little bit of a mess right now with Gríma constantly laying on his expensive plants that I buy him, so do ignore that!
