Kamryn Hart
Hey! I’m Kamryn, I have been keeping reptiles as a hobby since 2019 and creating content surrounding my progress keeping them, learning about husbandry, and so much more.
When I first purchased my reptile, I very impulsively did so. I walked into a corporate pet store and was promptly sent home with a baby bearded dragon and a ten-gallon enclosure kit. From the beginning, realizing how I had been led astray, I improved my care from from the absolute bottom that it was. This was the start in forming my passion in educating both new and old reptile keepers on the needs of their animal.
I graduated in late 2023 with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology, then went on to gain experience in wildlife, reptile husbandry, and even a sprinkle of new advances in caring for domestic dogs.
I now work as a Veterinary Technician at a wildlife rehabilitation and rescue facility, where my knowledge of animal husbandry, behavior, and more have come in handy. I am learning more and more by the day, newly in the vet med world and am enjoying it tremendously.
Something you may love to learn about me: I love to learn. I will never know everything and be the sole source of information from a topic; I am always learning and growing. All of us should be! I recently took The Amphibian Foundation’s Husbandry & Captive Management course, as well as the IRWC’S Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation certification.
I have found so much joy in educating and creating relatable content for reptile keepers and anyone else. You can always find me doing so on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
